Right off the bat I see two problems with it:

1) He provides low benches instead of chairs. Probably good on space saving but unless his gaming group practices good posture habits (snicker) then you're going to get a lot of sore backs after a while.

2) It looks to be on the top floor of a house and there's no windows. The man funk in there must be toxic.

While I don't think the lack of a chair back is a deal breaker, I do think the Man Funk Issue could be dangerous, especially after the gas inducing Pizza is consumed...

Although the look of the room is very well done.
Let me bring you up to speed.

The benches could be just for looks. Having beanbags decorated like large decorative pillows might be better seating, both for comfort and for the low ceiling.

As for manfunk you could put in a chimney roof fan maybe two and a window style air conditioner for input. That would help keep the temperature lower with keeping the place fueled with fresh air. It would not be efficient but should fight the man funk problem.

Or just use some scented candles.

You could even put them in some medieval holders or something to add to the ambiance of the room, but simultaneously have the smell of cinnamon apple to combat the man funk. It's win-win.

All you need is a box fan in the doorway sucking air out of the room.
