I'm in Lotro currently and I think I have some days left from my most recent sub to SWG, but I'm not sure about that nor am I playing. There's a pile of new content in Lotro, so I've been enjoying that.

I must say I might look into these battle grounds things... but with school starting back up and having to find a new place (landlord gave notice he's selling the place). I'm kinda busy...

Oh and Xauxau, I know the Mayor of Behemoth town, she's an old friend of mine from college. Has your daughter found this : http://www.thebehemoth.com/store/ plus they have forums so she can chat all about the game. :)

Enjoy.
Let me bring you up to speed.

You are now, Up to speed.

I have been trying to get the most out of my Xbox and Xbox Live account so I have been playing a lot of console games. Mainly, I have been playing a lot of Modern Warfare 2, I have one nuke and I am Level 36 on my second run through prestige. I mainly play Ground War but have started to come around to Hardcore TD and even enjoying some FFA. My roommate plays as well and with our respective Turtle Beach X3's we look like a hardcore gaming house. He has even launched a website for his clan http://www.rabbit-clan.com.

My second obsession that I think makes the Xbox Gold Live account worthwhile is 1 vs 100 trivia. The live shows on Tuesdays and Fridays give you chances to win random Xbox Arcade titles as well as Microsoft Points. Basically there are about 4 hours of trivia everyday with different daily themes.

Other titles I have recently spent a lot of time on include: Arkhum Asylum (beat it in two days, still need to start challenges and find some more Riddler stuffs, Lego Batman (Lego games are awesome!), and Portal (orange box is an amazing deal /anyone still hitting up Team Fortress 2 on either console?).

As far as PC I have been working on hitting 80 again on WOW (insert 'That F**her Price Game here). I am in a raiding guild with some new family members but still have to grind it out from level 30 /cry. I am playing alliance on Bladefist - SN: Epicdoubt. I kinda like the new dungeonfinder....

The PS3 we (my fiancee) got for Christmas has been pretty neglected thus far.
We Regret to inform you your party has died due to a Clerical error...

In MW2 I'm trying hard to hit 70 with a positive KVD, and getting close finally after i just said fuck the bullshit and started knifing every match. 44 kills and 2 deaths is my best record. Still haven't gotten a nuke, but then I don't slot it. Every once and awhile running into a hacker really kills my KvD, and makes me sad.

I'm really having a blat playing DDO right now, it's a fun game again, and free for those that want to play. You don't have access to everything the paying player does, but you have enough, and you can level all the way up without ever paying a dime if you want. (LEO, this game might be for you!)

And eq2. I'm on sort of a hiatus until the new expansion comes out, but looking forward to Battlegrounds and beating the shit out of people.

What server are you playing on in DDO? I downloaded it and instantly wished I could make a monk. P2P is the DEVIL!

Thelanis, and you CAN get a monk for free. It just depends how much work you want to do to get it free.

http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=198865 has some good info about how much you can get for free, and a rough idea of how to do so.

So quick info

Turbine Points (TP) are points you spend on the Turbine Store.
Favor Points (FP) you get by completing quests in game.

The following chart depicts favor Rewards that are earned by achieving each tier for the first time on a server. These rewards can only be earned once per server.

favor.........TP reward
5................50
25...............25
50...............25
500..............50
1000.............100
2000..............100
3000..............100

Also, for every 100 FP you obtain on a character, you receive an additional 25 TP. You can easily get 50 FP on each server without much effort, giving you 100 TP to spend on the turbine store, do that on all the servers and you have 700 TP. Use that to buy monk with some points left over. With any and every character you build, every 100 Favor gives 25 TP, if you really want something, grind out a few characters to 100 (a couple hours work) for that 25 TP, delete the character, and do it again to build up the TP you need to purchase something.

It's not the quickest way to do things, but if you want to play completely free you CAN conceivably get everything.

The original Assassin's Creed. Some parts of it are nifty (like all the parkour-ish stuff) but I'm starting to understand the game's shortcomings, and I'm only one storyline assassination into it so far. I may send this one back early.

I managed to bumble my way through two assassinations before I stopped playing-I just couldn't stay interested for some reason.

I see two big problems with it thus far:

1) They took the worst kind of "quest" you can put into a sandbox game -- the scavenger hunt -- and implemented about 15 of them throughout the world. It is no fun having to track down every frickin' flag, kill every frickin' templar, find every frickin' high point, etc. It's just dull. I want to progress through the game, not have to stop and scour every stupid far-off corner street or rooftop just to collect pointless macguffins.

2) There's a LOT of downtime in this game, especially in the opening missions, which is not good if you're trying to hook players in. It's mostly cutscenes where you just have to sit there and watch some characters go on and on about something. It's sure it's important to the story but it can get tedious. Plus, I end up not understanding half of what's said anyway because there's no subtitle option.

The controls are not super great either, but I'm pretty used to that in games like this so no big there.

I just downloaded and played through the Divinity II playable demo on the 360, and damn, I had a lot of fun with that. Going to be picking up that game when I have a chance.

Its still better then 2 for the simple reason that some nutfuck decided you are not allowed to copy your savegame and thus when i put a 120GB in my PS3 i lost my savegame, and im so not gonna go through that again...

Oh man, so I bought Titan Quest Gold for $4.00 yesterday on Steam. I played it for 30 min and man is that game addicting. I'll probably be playing that a lot moving forward.

That game RULES! I cannot recommend it enough.

However, I finally finished Mass Effect 2. Loved it! Its a fantastic game. I can't wait to do another playthrough. After that I've played STO non-stop (other than passing out at the keyboard last night) since last night. The game is really fun. If you like COH and Star Trek you will love this game.
